Design Communication
Here is my DESCOM progress during my entire semester 1. I've learn so much from Ms Shahrianne, Ms Filzani and all my course mates throughout the journey. I hope to see them again next semester.
PROJECT 1
Spirited Away Movie Poster
the story of Chihiro Ogino , a 10-year-old girl who, while moving to a new neighbourhood, enters the world of Kami (spirits of Japanese Shinto folklore). After her parents are turned into pigs by the witch Yubaba , Chihiro takes a job working in Yubaba's bathhouse to find a way to free herself and her parents and return to the human world
Self Expression
The cat represents my carefree self, free and protected away from the hurdles and worldly matters. Sleeping away peacefully in a glass cube of spa water enjoying and relaxing herself. The sky high race track symbolize the competitions and high expectations in life because life is a race.

FARNSWORTH HOUSE A1 BOARD
I compiled all my (Orthographic, axonometric, perspective) drawings of the Farnsworth house into my A1 sized presentation board. I also used watercolour to render my drawings especially the shadow and highlights to emphasize on my elevation and floor plan. This is a 1 minutes time lapse video of my process.

REFLECTION
Design communication has exposed me to many new colour mediums and drawing methods. I have learned to explore new ways to improve my drawings and come out of my comfort zone to try new things. Overall I think compare to my work in foundation I have done a lot better and have discovered new capabilities such as hatching and using water colour for my drawing although I might still need more practice. I hope I can do better as I ascend to the next semester
